About The Wood Team

John Wood

Walk around Holly Springs and/or the Sunset Ridge Development and mention the name John Wood. In all probability most will know who John is if they don't already know John personally. In case you do not know who John is, well, John Wood is a local North Carolinian who was the on site real estate agent in the early 1990's when Sunset Ridge was first placed on the map. John has sold many of the homes in Sunset and many homes more than once.  If you ever have a question about Sunset Ridge or Holly Springs, chances are John has the answer.  John is what I would classify as an expert in the real estate profession, and expert on Sunset Ridge, and a consummate professional with the highest level of integrity.

John has lived in Sunset Ridge since 1997 and lives in "The Ridge" with his wife and high school sweetheart Michelle,  his son Peyton, and daughter Lindsey. To say John loves Sunset Ridge is an understatement. John has been on every board, committee and association related to Holly Springs and  Sunset Ridge. He does it because he is truly interested and loves living in "The Ridge." John is also very involved as a leader in the local Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors and the Triangle Multiple Listing Service.  As many have referred to John as the Mayor of Sunset Ridge he truly does fit the bill. John is also a member of the Holly Springs Rotary and has served as past president and the president in waiting.

Scot Aubinoe

Scot is a native of the Washington, DC area and has been in real estate since 1987. After moving here to the Raleigh area in 2011, Scot continued his tenure as a real estate agent adding the North Carolina license to his resume. Scot, like John was a listing agent in the Montgomery County area and lived and focused on being the expert in his neighborhood in Maryland, like John has done here in Sunset Ridge.
After relocating here and moving to the neighborhood of Sunset Ridge as well, Scot and John connected while serving on Rotary as well. Scot has a love of marketing and building long term relationships and found a nice fit on The Wood Team at RE/MAX United.

Scot lives with his Wife Sara, and his four children Billy, Tori, Carly and Zoe. Scot is a huge supporter of the "Make a Wish Foundation" and is a Wish Granter here in the Raleigh area. Scot has a love for people and making new connections.
